The Gatineau Park

We are very fortunate to have a beautiful park in Gatineau, QC. Not only do we have access to beautiful trails in the winter, we also have many opportunities to use the park in the spring, summer and fall with the support of the National Capital Commission (NCC) with road closures. A huge thank you to the NCC for your support.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, at specific times, the park offers closures to support safe summer activities such as cycling and rollerskiing.

Fall Season:  Wednesdays and Thursdays

The North Loop (P8-P9) will be closed to vehicular traffic and open to rollerskiers, inline skaters, cyclists, longboarders, runners, etc. on Wednesday and Thursday evenings (approximately 6 pm until dusk) throughout this fall season.

FYI – Please take extra care as darkness descends and vision becomes more challenging. You may want a headlight.

Thank you to the volunteers from Chelsea Nordiq, Nakkertok and XC Chelsea Masters for taking care of weekday evening closures throughout this spring and summer. For the fall months,, XCZone and Chelsea Nordiq: have volunteeredto cover Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thank you!
