Winter Camp at Silver Star (second coach)
The XC Chelsea Masters will be hosting a Winter Camp at SilverStar in British-Columbia for five days from December 2 to the 6 th . With 105 kms of trails, SilverStar combined with the adjacent Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre boasts having the largest daily groomed cross-country ski network in Canada. The Camp will be coached by the XC Chelsea Master’s very own Dan Mallet and Peter Lloyd.
Highlights of the Camp are as follows:
- Three hours of coaching from 09:00 to 12:00 each day for four days alternating each day
between classic and skate technique. - On the Friday, participants will have the opportunity to have one-on-one with the coaches to
review their own specific needs. The time allotted to each person will be based on the
number of participants. - The cost is $150 for coaching only. Participants will be responsible for arranging their
own transport and accommodations. - Skican, a tour guide operator is aware of the Winter Camp and can facilitate bookings.
Participants can also make their own arrangements. - The minimum number of participants is four, the maximum is 10.
- Registration will tentatively be closed on November 3.
