I’m involved in coordinating speakers for the upcoming Cross Country Ski Ontario Coach Seminar in Ottawa May 31-June 1. We have a terrific line-up that includes academics who will share some relevant research, coaches, and athletes. It would be a great opportunity for both coaches and athletes.
You don’t need to be from Ontario or on an any official coaching roster to attend – in fact, I think anyone interested in the latest development in cross country ski training and coaching would benefit, as well as athletes who are interested in taking greater ownership in their training.
Coaches with certification will receive coach.ca Professional Development points for attending.
All-in-all, it’s a terrific local opportunity for coach/athlete development without associated travel costs.
