Various ski associations that the club comes into contact with:

• World Masters Association (WMA)
• • - Known for their yearly Master's World Cup (MWC) races

• Canadian Masters (MCC)
  • - Membership is through the various provincial organizations
  • - Organizes the Canadian National Masters races

• Ontario Masters
  • - Masters organization for Ontario
  • - To go to MWC races you must be a member (if living in Ontario).
  • - Organizes the annual Ontario Masters Race

• Quebec Masters
  • - Masters organization for Quebec
  • - To go to MWC races you must be a member (if living in Quebec).

• Nordiq Canada (was Cross-Country Canada - CCC)
  • - Top-level Canadian XC Ski organization
  • - Organizes Canadian Olympic & international teams
  • - Holds Canadian National Races

• XC Ski Ontario
  • - Top-level Ontario XC Ski organization
  • - A provincial arm of Nordiq Canada

• National Capital Division (NCD)
  • - The local division of XC Ontario

• Quebec Ski du Fond
  • - Top-level Quebec XC Ski organization
  • - A provincial arm of Nordiq Canada

Where does XCCM fit in?

• When you join XCCM you become a member of the NCD,of XC Ontario, of Nordiq Canada. To join MCC (such as when you are going to MCW,  Canadian or Provincial Masters Championships) you must join your provincial masters organization separately. We do it this way to get the Nordiq Canada Insurance, and since only a few of our members enter masters championship races every year.
