Join us for the LAST SOCIAL of the 2022-23 season and the FIRST SOCIAL of the 2023-24 season! Oh, and it’s also our Annual General Meeting (AGM)!!!
Wednesday August 30th, at the Umbrella Bar at the Dow’s Lake Pavilion.
Gathering starts at 6 pm – the formalities of the AGM start at 7 pm. Hearty snacks will be provided, members buy their own drinks.
One of the formalities is the election of 6 directors to our board. Most of the existing board members are going to put themselves forward for another 2 year term, but there is one vacancy (the duties for the board members get sorted by consensus once the board is formed, so there isn’t a specific role that is vacant). If you are interested in contributing to the club in this way, please come prepared to the AGM with a few words about yourself and how you’d like to participate.
